Permanent jewelry is custom-fit chain, that is welded together instead of secured with a traditional clasp. It's quick, painless, and designed to be worn every day.

Not at all! The welding process never touches your skin. We take every precaution to make sure your experience is safe and comfortable.

Absolutely. If needed, simply snip the jump ring with scissors or wire cutters. Hold onto it so we can reweld it back on you later!

If your permanent jewelry breaks please contact us immediately. We'd be happy to reweld your piece after we can inspect and assess any damage for repair. We offer re-welds during Spark Days, pop-ups, and private events whenever possible. If additional chain or repairs are needed, there may be a small charge.

We cannot offer replacements, refunds or discounts for lost chains due to the personal nature of the wearer's lifestyle, occupation and other external factors that are out of our control.

We offer high-quality 925 Sterling Silver, 14k Gold Filled, Rose Gold Filled, and 14k Solid Gold options designed for everyday wear. Proper care will help keep your jewelry looking beautiful.

Gold-Filled jewelry is created with an outer layer of entirely 14k gold that is pressure-bonded to the brass base metal and contains at least 5% gold by weight. This makes it more durable than solid gold or plated jewelry & provides a longer life span for your pieces provided they are cared for properly. Please be cautious if you have an allergy to brass as gold-filled jewelry contains this metal! Gold-filled jewelry is second to solid gold in terms of quality, but is number one in affordability, durability, and longevity.

925 Sterling Silver is beautiful and shiny, but will easily tarnish if not cared for properly. Unlike gold-filled, Sterling Silver does not hold up well in water, chemical exposure, or around beauty products. Sterling Silver will require frequent light polishing to help minimize tarnishing! Using a mild dish soap and water will help tremendously.

If your piece stretches, we can inspect and assess for resizing and re-welding for a small fee.

If you find your jewelry is too tight, we are able to add charms, connectors, or additional chain for a fee.

Yes! Our jewelry is designed for everyday wear, including showering, swimming, and working out. Like any fine jewelry, proper care will help keep it looking its best.

Spark Day Studio is located in Pikesville, Maryland.

Because it's a private studio, appointments are reviewed before being confirmed. Once approved, you'll receive the full address along with parking and arrival instructions.

Absolutely! You're welcome to bring a guest. Just let us know in your booking notes so we can plan accordingly.

Most appointments take about 10 minutes, whether you're getting your first piece, adding to your stack, or stopping by for a reweld.

We ask for a minimum of 10 purchasing guests for private parties

Depends on your event. We can customize payment options if you are looking to gift for others! Or, each guest chooses exactly what they'd like and pays individually during the event.

Most parties last approximately 2 hours, depending on the number of guests.

Yes! We travel throughout Maryland and surrounding areas. A travel fee may apply depending on your location.

The term “permanent” is used because it gives the appearance that it cannot be taken off! 

We source materials that are durable and long lasting; however, the lifespan of your unique piece depends on a variety of things: lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent jewelry breaks or stretches, we will do our best to repair it. If you would like to remove your jewelry, simply use wire cutters and cut at the jump ring where it was welded.

Yes! There is no reason your jewelry needs to be taken off for the security at the airport. It is not magnetic.

We recommend discussing with your doctor; however, all of our chains are safe for medical scans unless the scan is for the area the jewelry is on.

With parental consent and accompaniment, we are happy to provide our permanent jewelry services to children of most ages; however, all young people are responsible for the jewelry once it is on their body. This choice is considerate of lifestyle, sports, growth spurts, age and other external factors that could cause premature wear and tear. Our chains are durable but they are not indestructible.
